To keep our community well‑informed, to monitor issues affecting the Whangārei Heads area — including district and regional council matters, government planning, growth and development, roading, and other changes with potential local impact. The WHCA works to develop, support, and advocate for a stronger, more resilient community.
KEY PROJECTS & ISSUES
· Growth & Critical Infrastructure (wastewater, stormwater, roading)
· Submissions on Local and Regional Annual and Long-Term Plans
· Represent community at workshops and meetings
· Organise and host public meetings and provide a range of community services
· Own and manage the McLeod Bay Community Hall
· Publish bi-monthly Whangārei Heads newsletter
